Happy New Year

Did you have a good Christmas? Splendid! So did I. Not such a good New Year’s Eve but the Herald carries on as always. November’s Herald was a bit light as two, full page, advertisers dropped out at the last minute – one several hours AFTER the deadline.  December’s copy was also a little light – apparently you were all too busy wrapping presents to have meetings or send me anything.  January’s issue is back to full-strength with copy flowing in very nicely.

Please get copy for February in early as I have problems with typing for the next few weeks.

Do remember that typing and posting letters costs pounds whilst email is FREE.

COSTS COVERED

The cost of printing the Herald for the next four months is being met by DURAWHITE, whose advertisement you will see on the back page.   We are very grateful to them as otherwise the cost would be added to the Parish Council’s costs and so passed on to you. The real cost per person in the village if you actually had to pay it would be about 4p per issue thanks to the many who contribute their time compiling and distributing the Herald for free, with Optima Graphics reproducing it at cost.
