Back PAGE 2 FROM THE EDITOR LYMPSTONE CONVENIENCES Well I asked for comments and I got them both written and verbal. Number in favour of keeping, even if it meant paying for Lympstone public conveniences, nine. Number for their removal, one. I passed this on to the rest of the Parish Council on Monday night. They decided to take a hard line with East Devon Council. OUR LYMPSTONE WEB SITE After four short sessions, our latest group of potential web authors are coming along quite nicely. Have a look at what this bunch of ten year olds is doing. Whilst they are not called “The Magic Set” for nothing (have a look at their beheading photos) – they do have some serious interests. A TIMELY REMINDER Right now, after hedgerows have died back and winter winds have done the best to dislodge it but before new growth starts to transfix things, this is the time to clear plastic bags and any other rubbish in hedges and gardens. If you do not want to have it annoy you by its presence all summer get out there with a stick or even a long handled brush and collect what you find. Fifteen minutes each would make a lot of difference to the general appearance of our village. Whilst we are on reminders, it seems that many dog owners are using cold, dark, winter nights as an excuse for not exercising their animals, dog poo is everywhere and I have a file of complaints.
