AVOCET LINE Changes to Lympstone station should include a second shelter and flowers replanted in their holders. Unfortunately changes to the platform height have been deferred again. Usage figures indicate an 8.5% increase in the number of passengers between Exmouth and Exeter in the earlier part of this year. (Update from Cllr Hughes). BROADBAND
BT requested permission to route a fibre optic cable from Greenhill Ave to the Primary School at the last Parish Council Meeting: so even the school will have a really high-speed link to the internet.
REVISIONS TO RESIDENTS’ PARKING SCHEMES A uniform county-wide approach to residents' parking schemes has been approved by Devon County Council. Amongst the many changes is one stating that the issue of permits by electronic means will also be encouraged. Everyone applying via the internet will receive a 20% discount.
