ITEMS OF NOTE From the Parish Council Meeting of the 6th of March
Refuse Collection
The Chairman confirmed that the new system for collecting refuse using wheelie bins will be phased in from next April in some areas – although probably later in Lympstone.
Avian Influenza
The subject of bird flu was raised from the floor and it was requested that the Council remind everyone NOT to handle dead birds – particularly on the foreshore.
Committees
The next Planning Committee will be on the 20th of March. Councillors Albon and Norris were voted on to the Planning Committee.
A new list of Councillors showing which committees they sit on will be published shortly.
CLLR Sally Albon
A relative new-comer to the village but with several local ties, Sally is another new recruit to the Parish Council with a strong interest in Planning matters.
She works as the UK Manager for a Healthcare company and is married with two teenage children.
