FOULED FOOTPATHS
Pat Dearsly, Mary Nightingale, Just-Pete and
several others have all written to me about dog excrement on pavements, or
left in odd places in plastic bags where it does not easily degrade. People
are being prosecuted for this but it seems more action is necessary.
BROAD BAND
I am seriously thinking about forming a user
group for those with high speed links in Lympstone. Give me a call if you
are a sufferer. In Lympstone we are on the edge of the area that BT will
supply the service to (some applicants in the village have been refused). I
have some answers to the modem problems.

LYMPSTONE BOOK CLUB
Just over a year ago we started a Lympstone
Book Club consisting of eleven members. I think it would be fair to say that
the Book Club has been so successful that there have been quite a few
enquiries about others joining.
After a discussion at the last meeting, it
was felt that the original club was already too big with its eleven
members. However, if there was enough interest within the village, there
was no reason why we could not start a second Book Club.
If anyone is interested in joining a Book
Club, perhaps they would like to ring me, on Lympstone 276999 with their
preference of days/times, and we could then meet up to discuss a way
forward. Prim Finney
