CRANING IN

Who is pulling and who is pushing the safety boat?

The first cruiser is lowered into a very calm brook

The chaos to be unpicked (Alan knew the order)

I would not like to be sitting in the boat below

The first few waiting for the tide to float them off

Those on the balcony have coffee and bacon rolls

Those who work in the water also wait for the tide

The first is towed out whilst the rest wait anxiously

All off and heading for their own moorings

Every year 'craning in' yields a host of photos.  Some are technically brilliant, some are unusual and others, well let say they reveal our human nature.  I will keep these on show for a couple of months as examples.  Remember that they are all taken about dawn.  Tony Day took most of these.
