Exmouth & Lympstone Hospiscare
Exmouth & Lympstone Hospiscare was founded in 1987 to provide support for people within the Exmouth and Lympstone area – and today two Clinical Nurse Specialists and an Assistant Practitioner/Support Worker are continuing to help residents in Lympstone with life threatening illnesses.
The Nurses work out of our Centre in Highview Gardens, Exmouth, where we provide a range of services for patients, carers and their families.
The Charity does not receive any help from Health Trusts, the Government or local authorities so relies on help from local organisations and individuals. It costs over £200,000 to run the Charity – out of every £1 donated ….94p is used for nursing costs and supportive services.
Volunteers are a highly valued part of our team and vital in providing many services to patients – including driving, sitting, bereavement and fund raising – we are always recruiting!
