Annual Craning In of Boats

HARBOUR MATTERS
The annual craning of boats from the outfall of Wotton Brook to the hardstanding of the Harbour is planned for the morning of Wednesday 4th October 2023, from before dawn to midday.
A large mobile crane will move through the village to the Harbour during the afternoon of Tuesday 2nd and depart early afternoon on Wednesday.

Owners of vehicles normally parked on the route between the Harbour via The Strand, Bergmann’s Hill, Nutwell Road and the A376, particularly on the corner turning into the Harbour outside the Swan Inn, and at the parking bays on The Strand furthest from and in sight of the railway bridge are asked to park such that the crane can pass easily.

For safety reasons, the Harbour will be closed to the public during craning and during crane movements. Thank you for your co-operation.
