Film Society: Lunana, A Yak in the Classroom

Friday Evening Film:  Lunana, A Yak in the Classroom
A disillusioned teacher finds meaning in his life (and a new use for yak dung) while teaching in the world’s most remote school. This heartwarming and beautiful first feature from Bhutan had such a warm reception that it ended up being nominated for an Oscar last year.
“The film is so pure of spirit, so openhearted, you want to breathe it in, to fill your lungs with it.” The Guardian
