Longmeadow Road Closure at Pretty Corner

Culvert repair work at Pretty Corner to help reduce the risk of flooding
Devon County Council is planning to repair the culvert under Longmeadow Road and to install a liner to ease the flow of water. The work is scheduled for 21st May to 8th June and will involve closure of part of Longmeadow Road for the 3 week period.
Many of you will remember the storms in November 2012 when 10 properties at Pretty Corner were flooded. This is an area that is prone to flooding, and the work is therefore important.
