Lympstone Players present Beauty And The Beast

A Traditional Pantomime

10th, 11th and 12th December at 7.30 pm

(Matinee on 12th December at 2.30 pm)

Oubbr village pantomime this year, written by Ben Crocker, former artistic director of the Northcott Theatre,  involves all the traditional panto characters as well as two comic French poodles and talking clocks. Beauty And The Beast is based on a traditional French fairy tale and tells of the young maiden, Beauty, her love for the handsome Prince, and their battle with the evil fairy Malabelle, after the Prince is cursed and turned into the Beast. But will Beauty break the evil Fairy’s curse and release the Beast from his hideous form? Will an unruly Poodle get in the way? Can magic and good prevail and the handsome Prince be reunited with his love?  This is family entertainment at its best!
