Poppy Appeal Collection

The 2017 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal House to House Collection.
The collection will take place in Lympstone from Saturday 28th October to Saturday 11th November.
This year marks the centenary of the Battle of Passchendaele. It began on the 31st July 1917 and finished between 6-10 November the same year. During this short time the Battle claimed 310,000 Allied casualties. 60,083 deaths were estimated during the battle period of which 5,977 were recorded on the first day alone.
20 Passchendaele Pin badges are available on a first come, first served basis so if you would like one please contact Becks.
