‘Scratch Nativity’

The ‘Scratch Nativity’ with the Lympstone Players starts from the Nursery at 6pm on Wednesday 21st December from 6pm.

All ages are welcome and shepherds, angels, kings, Josephs and Marys are wanted to act out their various parts. You may wish to come as a donkey or a sheep or bring one along! We progress, retelling the story of the first Christmas, towards the church and later, arriving at the altar, the angels announce the news to the shepherds and all progress to the stable to see the newborn baby.

Come along and take part in our lively version of The Big Birthday Story. Audience participation and dressing up as your favourite Nativity character or Christmas decoration is a must! Meet outside The Lympstone Nursery opposite Church. Free
tea/coffee and cookies for everyone.

Do come and help decorate the church beforehand at 4.00pm – bring your fairy lights to help make the church sparkle. If you’d like to take on a character for the event and help with the improvisation scenes, contact Sharon Wayland on 01395-274551 or
email lympstoneplayers@gmail.com
