This is the end of an era for me, Chris Carter, editor of the Lympstone Herald. Whilst the Lympstone Herald will still be produced and distributed as before, the web site www.lympstone.org which I developed nearly a decade ago will, from the start of next month, take on a completely new form. Chairman of the Parish Council, Cllr Rob Longhurst will handle any queries at least in the transition period (Tel: 263495).
Although anything you send to me for the Herald will be passed on to the new website if you request it.
The production timetable will be approximately as before. Following a Parish Council meeting on Monday night I will, with a little help from Jan and Liz, edit the Herald and send it to the Printers on Wednesday night. On Thursday and Friday I will put it‟s contents on the web site and pass it on to the new online editor. On Friday night Judith and Robin Telfer will receive a thousand copies of the Herald for distribution to every house in Lympstone.
