We had a fantastic Garden and Produce Show, which was the culmination of our year. Thank you to the many people who helped to make it such a successful and happy occasion.
The first event of the Autumn will be our AGM on Wednesday 26th October at 7.30pm. It has a decidedly French flavour. We are fortunate in having in Lympstone art historian, Lin Holdridge.
After a very short meeting, Lin will give an illustrated talk entitled ‘Monet’s Garden’. Naturally, we will be having wine and cheese.
The rest of our programme includes:
16th November – The Winter Garden by Mike Stevens
14th December – Christmas Workshop with Rosemary Bethell
15th February – Digital Photography for Gardeners by Bryan Webb
21st March – ‘Where Have All The Sparrows Gone?’ by John Allen, RSPB.
18th April – ‘Killerton Past, Present and Future’ by Head Gardener, Kate Tuke.
Our Coffee Morning and Plant Sale will be on Saturday 12th May. We are also planning a coach trip and, of course, next year’s Garden and Produce Show. So the seasons change and the gardening cycle continues.
