With the Annual Show a firm favourite in the village calendar, now’s the time to get growing in earnest so that your prizewinning entries are ready for this our 70th show on Saturday 20 August.
You’ll soon be able to pick up a Show catalogue, listing all the categories to enter, from the village shop. And this year we’re also launching an exciting new leaflet calling for entries from under 16s. This will be distributed to each family in the school, and copies can also be found at the village shop from early June. Please do encourage your children and grandchildren to enter and maybe win a prize.
At the end of June and into early July, we’ll be scouting the village for the most inspiring front gardens and allotments. A shortlist of the best gardens will be drawn up and judges from Exmouth in Bloom will make their final decision in mid July.
Over the summer also look out for our new leaflet outlining next season’s talks and events.
