General Data Protection Regulations May 2018

On 25th May 2018 new data protection legislation (GDPR) comes into law – they require that all organisations look after your personal data securely. Lympstone.org is currently reviewing its procedures.

You may have already been contacted by local groups asking you to confirm that they can continue to contact you.

The information displayed on lympstone.org is sourced directly from your emails to webmaster@lympstone.org or from published material in the Lympstone Herald  – which we publish in full at  https://www.lympstone.org/lympstone-herald [The Lympstone Herald is an independent publication]    

We also publish on the website contact information for local groups and businesses. You will need to notify us of any changes or updates to this information.

Lympstone.org Statement of Purpose:

  • to provide information for residents (including Parish Council activities)
  • to promote wellbeing in the community both through information sharing and in the use of social media to connect people
  • to promote Lympstone village (as a destination and a place to live)
  • to provide information for visitors
