The highlight of Lympstone’s gardening year is fast approaching. Now in it’s 70th year, the popular Annual Show is on Saturday 20 August in the Village Hall from 2pm.
We’re very much looking forward to receiving your Show entries on the evening of Friday 19 August from 6 – 8pm, or on the morning of Saturday 20 August from 8 – 10am.
Do pick up a Show Schedule from our village shop and pubs, or Greenfingers, Kings and St Bridget’s Garden Centres.
This lists all the many and varied sections in the Show that you can enter – from fruit and veg and home cooking and homemade drinks, to handicrafts, art & design and photography. It contains an entry form at the back. And this year we’ve also launching an exciting new leaflet calling for entries from under 16s – distributed to every family in the school.
As usual, we’d be very pleased to receive any donations of cakes or produce to sell on the day. To add to the event, the Village Training Band will be playing so do come and spend the afternoon with us – it’s always a lovely event.
