120 villagers enjoy curry dinners organised by the Tennis club
Liz Griffiths writes: We cooked over 120 curries, with deliveries from 6-9pm. We reckon we have raised c£500. This is up on last year’s event. Cooks were Jill Dixon, Ann Hurley, Sarah Forde, Karen Gratton and myself with help from Simon Griffiths, Drivers: Alan Dixon, Steve and Frankie Forde, Clive Hurley and Tony Gratton.
And Phil adds: Really well organised, excellent curries…and we shall sign up again next year. Well done the Tennis Club!
