Lympstone Open Gardens, almost here!

Lympstone Open Gardens, almost here!

With a huge amount of local support and enthusiasm, the Open Gardens weekend is almost here. On 15 & 16 July more than 10 village gardens can be explored each day, plus the allotments on the Saturday only – and it’s all in aid of Hospiscare Exmouth & Lympstone to mark their 30th anniversary.

Tickets and a map will be available at the clearly signposted gardens – adult weekend tickets £6 each, with children free. With the map you can follow the ‘open gardens trail’ through the village, and find out which gardens are doing morning coffees, lunches, afternoon tea and homemade cakes, and plant sales. Ice creams will be on sale, and there’s a raffle and silent auction with amazing prizes. And on top of all that, lots of scarecrows will be popping up along the trail!

The Map is here and the list of gardens is here

As we all know, parking is limited in the village, so people are being encouraged to come by public transport. That weekend the nursery site and the National Trust Avenue Field on Burgmann’s Hill will be opened up for cars too. Sorry, but no dogs in gardens except assistance dogs. Event sponsored by Stags.
