Lympstone Sailing Club is hosting the River Exe Regatta the weekend of 16th/17th July. This involves all the sailing clubs on the Exe with Cruiser racing off sea, at Exmouth and at Topsham and 3 race courses in the river on Saturday and Sunday staring at 1530 on Saturday and 1600 on Sunday. We are very grateful for the support of our main sponsor Tozers and also to Exe Sails and Covers Wilkinson Grant, Stormpress and Hanlons Brewery. Without their support we would not be able to run this event.
On Saturday night, 16th July there is a BBQ from 7pm followed by live music by Carnaby Street at The Harbour . You do not have to be a member to book a ticket for the BBQ but booking must be made by 13th July by going to the Lympstone Sailing Club website lympstonesailingclub.co.uk and then go to Club Events and Exe Regatta BBQ and book and pay online.
On Sunday 17th July after racing there is Prize Giving at 7.30 pm. Over the weekend there will be a Marquee on the slipway at the Harbour and also one in the dinghy park. We apologise for any inconvenience and will get things back to normal as quickly as possible after the event.
It should be a wonderful weekend, just hoping for fair weather.
