The Parish Council is looking for a new Youth Leader for the Youth Club in Candy’s Field. The Leader will be supported by a small group of volunteers and building ‘manager’ to look after and help develop the building. There has been a Youth Club in Lympstone for over 40 years. Leaders and members come and go and we are grateful for the time and effort they have put in to help young people of the Parish grow into well-rounded individuals. The present building has been there for nearly forty years, it has always been run by volunteers with the involvement of families. Today is no different and new people are needed to take over from Eddie and Lauren Mingo who have done a great job over the last seven years. The Youth Club has developed considerably during this time with lots of new equipment and activities.
Youth Club sessions are currently held every Friday evening and there are other activities in the building during the week. The Youth Club is also involved in other community activities held on Candy’s Field. The new Leader will have every opportunity to take the Youth Club in new and different directions
