Does the village need a defibrillator?

At its next meeting, the Parish Council will consider the need for a defibrillator in the Village. This will probably be the type that can be operated by anyone, following simple instructions. The Parish Council would like to hear your views as to whether this would be a useful piece of equipment to have and where it might be kept so that it is available at all times.

Vacancy on the Parish Council

There is still a vacancy for one more Parish Councillor. There are plenty of things to do for anyone who is interested in playing a part in their Community. If possible, we like everyone to have a specific responsibility, but this will be the choice of the individual and not decided by the Parish Council as a whole. Whatever role you might feel that you can play you will gets lots of support and if you want to, you will get a chance to meet with people in other Parishes to talk about what they are doing and how they go about it. If you feel that you could give something to your Community, why not come along to our meetings to see what happens? Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7.30pm in the Committee Room of the Village Hall.
