# 1 The local police would like to make you aware of a company that are making calls trying to make appointments with home owners to quote for security alarms systems. Trading standards are urging consumers to say ‘No’ if they receive a call like this. We too are advising you to simply put down your phone on these callers.

# 2 On the 24th March a vehicle parked in the Chapel Hill area had its window smashed and a holdall stolen. This occurred between 7.35pm and 9.23pm. The bag and property was recovered a short distance away. There was a possible sighting of a male on a bike seen in the area around this time who was looking into cars in the car park. The only description we have so far is of a male in his twenties with shaved head. If anybody saw this male or has any further information regarding this.
