Entries for the Royal Wedding Petry Competitiion are now closed.
What a fantastic effort has gone into these poems – particularly the under 12’s well done all at Lympstone Primary and St Peters Schools. In the end there were 52 for the under 12s , 2 for 12-18 and 10 Open.
Ralph Rochester will now lead the judging of each class and he will select a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the under 12’s and Open and a 1st and 2nd in the 12 – 18s. The best 3 in the Under 12’s we will send off to Will and Kate!
Once he has completed his deliberations we will advise the lucky winners and publish all the poems with the entrants names. There will be prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd in the Under 12s, 1st and 2nd in the 12 – 18 and 1st in the Open. The winner in each section will get a £10 book token donated by www.ukbestbooks.co.uk and the runners up wil get books donated by Ralph.
