Twinning Association committee to wind up

Twenty eight members plus guests attended the Après Noël lunch party followed by the AGM. After an informative discussion it was agreed to wind-up the Association at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held following the hosting of our Biéville-Beuville friends in April.

Twinning will continue, but without an Association Committee to fundraise and organise. Thanks were expressed to all past and present organisers who had brought about so much joy, friendship and entertainment over the 33 years.

Lympstone continues to be twinned with Biéville-Beuville and the Parish Council has been informed that as signatories to the Charter, the duty to uphold the Charter resides with them.
