The Annual Flower and Vegetable Show, held each August in the Village Hall, is an event which is popular throughout the whole village. You will have seen the presentation of cups at the end of the afternoon. The winners are able to enjoy and display these for the following year as a reminder of their success. Sadly one of the cups has, after 23 years, reached the end of its life and we are looking to replace it. It is a cup which is awarded to “the best business premises planted and maintained by the owner/manager”.
The Garden Club Committee would like to invite organisations, or possibly individuals, within the village to sponsor a replacement cup. Your organisation’s name will appear on the cup and you will be showing your appreciation of efforts made by our local businesses to help make Lympstone the attractive place it is.
