The airing of the last episode of the Hairy Bikers Go West series earlier in the week was a poignant moment for Michael.A bitter-sweet experience as Dave sadly passed away a few months after filming. “The Hairy Bikes Dave & Si visit to Lympstone Manor here in Devon, was a very special event and occasion for us all. I’ve enjoyed working with them both on a number of occasions but have never had the privilege to cook for them. But this also felt very special, especially as it was journeys end for filming this series, and we were able to raise and share glass together. It's hard to think that Dave is no longer with us, but his memory lives on through his work, it feels very special to know we were able to share those moments together, making it all the more precious. A fitting tribute to Dave's life, thanks for letting me be a part of it" - Michael Caines MBE DL#HairyBikers #GoWest #BBC2 #davemyers #devon #dorset #MICHELINStar24 #relaischateaux #michaelcaines #lympstonemanor ...
