Parish council: Courtlands Cross – Proposed Development

THE STORY SO FAR.

Courtlands sheep graze

In March 2010 Strategic Land Partnerships presented to East Devon District Council an application to develop land to the North West of Courtlands Cross, Lympstone. Following a massive rejection from the public and the Lympstone Community (650 letters of complaint!) EDDC rejected the proposal on 10th June 2010. SLP have now submitted a renewed application to EDDC. This time there has been over 665 letters of objection!! Well done to all.

The decision of EDDC Planning Committee will be known on 15th November – if it is refused (and the officers recommend refusal) then it will go to appeal on the 24th January 2012.

This page of the website tells you all you need to know about the process to date – as soon as possible after the 15th we will post what we need to do to win the appeal.
