Neighbourhood Plan

The Lympstone Neighbourhood Plan sets out a vision for our village and proposes where new housing development should be sited. It also says what should be done by the Parish Council and others to improve and maintain facilities in the village, covering transport, the environment and the community. The policies in the Lympstone Neighbourhood Plan are a comprehensive agenda for local development and action and will be a major influence on how Lympstone develops.

The Lympstone Neighbourhood Plan was subject to a referendum on 27th March 2014 and 86.5% of those who voted accepted it (561 voted Yes, 87 No). It was ‘made’ by East Devon District Council in April 2014 and now has full legal status.
