For some years now (15 all told) I have been researching my family history, and trying to find the living, or more recently departed family seems to be almost impossible. I have more luck with record over 200 year than those of the last 50. This is one of the last little twigs that I am having difficulty with …..My Great Uncle, Alfred George Evans married a Dorothy Elaine (Nee Roberts) and had a Son, Graham. They then divorced, and she remarried, to I believe was a Marine? and lived in Lympstone.I do not know if Dorothy is still alive, but I am sure Graham would be, but I have no way of tracing him – his name was Graham Evans (there are a few of those !!)Dorothy was originally from Denbighshire, but I am not sure if Graham was born there, or Exeter, where she and Alfie then settled. Alfred then joined the Merchant Navy, disembarking in South Africa – where he stayed! (and re-married)If anyone knows of Dorothy or Graham, I would dearly love to contact them – even if it’s only to fill in the gaps.
