LYMPSTONE ART EXHIBITION SUNDAY 27TH MAY – SUNDAY 3RD JUNE
This picture has been donated as the raffle prize by Paul Barclay who will be opening and judging the exhibition. Paul grew up in Lympstone , his mother, Susy ran a delicatessen shop in Dingles on Church Road and many residents will remember them both . Paul is now an Artist and Illustrator for Crew Clothing , super yachts, and for other prestigious merchandise and has a gallery in Dartmouth. We are delighted that he is our judge this year.
Lympstone Artist and Art Teacher, Louise Banks has donated one of her water colours ( see front cover) for our secret auction – her water colours are in great demand. She has been the winner of the Exhibition over several years and takes a key role in organising the Exhibition display.
The Exhibition is held over the half term week, 27th May to 3rd June and we will have a wide range of paintings, as well as sculpture, ceramics and other 3D art on show and for sale.
Open from 11pm to 5pm in the Village Hall, although on the final day, Sunday 3rd June we finish at 2pm. Tea, coffee, cakes and soft drinks are available.
