Annual Craning-In

The annual craning-in of boats is planned for the morning of Saturday 9th October 2021.
A large mobile crane will move through the village to the Harbour during the afternoon of Friday, and depart early afternoon on Saturday.
Owners of vehicles normally parked on the route between the Harbour via The Strand, Burgmann’s Hill, Nutwell Road and the A376 – particularly on the corner turning into the Harbour outside the Swan Inn, and at the parking bays on The Strand furthest from and in sight f the railway bridge are asked to park such that the crane can pass easily.
For safety reasons the Harbour will be closed to all during craning and during crane movements. Thank you for your cooperation.
