Armistice event planning meeting

Armistice event planning meeting: Monday 16th July at 7pm, in the Village Hall Committee Room.
The Lympstone Community Hub is keen to plan a community event to mark the centenary of the armistice on 11th November. There will be a brief informal meeting on Monday 16th July at 7pm in the committee room of the Village Hall to gather suggestions.
We will be lighting a beacon on Cliff Field in the early evening, as part of a national beacon event, and would like to have some entertainment, food and drink available during the afternoon. We would also like to have a large display of poppies through the village. Whilst we have some initial thoughts, we would welcome input from ANYONE in the village who has ideas or wishes to help on the day (however small your involvement may be!)
