COFFEE/SOFT DRINKS MORNING – LYMPSTONE PARISH CHURCH – SOCIAL AREA: THURSDAY 18TH JULY, 10.30AM
FIND OUT ABOUT MARY TRUELL’S fundraising walk for the Devon Wildlife Trust, and why she has set herself the challenge of walking 91 miles this summer, while exploring each of the DWT areas across Devon.
“I am sure you are as concerned as I am about the desecration and disappearance of so much of our unique wildlife. However, all is not lost! Devon Wildlife Trust, and other such visionary groups have worked with tireless dedication for many years to protect our precious wildlife and help us all to enjoy its natural habitats.
To continue this crucial work the Trust urgently needs our help, both financially and in finding new members. For this reasons I have set myself the sponsored challenge to visit and explore all 50 of the Nature Reserves managed by the Devon Wildlife Trust in our county, and whilst in the Reserves to clock up 91 miles, to match my age during the 2019 summer months.
To tell a little more about some of these lively Reserves I am having a Coffee/Soft Drinks morning om Thursday 18th July at 10.30am in the Social Area of our beautiful Church, (which has a lovely lay corner for children). I would be delighted to see you. Come and share your wildlife stories or just enjoy a chat or browsing through some books and magazines.
