Craning-In Lympstone

The annual craning of boats from Wotton Brook is planned for the morning of Thursday 13th October 2022 from dawn to midday. A large mobile crane will move through the village to the Harbour during the afternoon of Wednesday 12th and depart early afternoon on Thursday. Owners of vehicles normally parked on the route between the Harbour via The Strand, Bergmann’s Hill, Nutwell Road and the A376, particularly on the corner turning into the Harbour outside the Swan Inn, and at the parking bays on The Strand furthest from and in sight of the railway bridge are asked to park such that the crane can pass easily. For safety reasons, the Harbour will be closed to the public during craning and during crane movements. Thank you for your co-operation.
