We hope you’re able to join us on Friday 1st July at 7 p.m when we will be holding the launch of our book The Lympstone Show : Celebrating 75 years, in the Village Hall. The author, Tony Day, will be there to introduce and sign copies of his book. The cost of the book is £10.
On Saturday 2nd July from 10 a.m to 1 p.m and 2 p.m to 6 p.m there will be an exhibition of our archive material relating to the annual Lympstone Show. This will also be held in the Village Hall. It will be a unique opportunity to see all the cups and information about the cup winners over the years as well as the schedules and minute books. The artists’ original illustrations will also be on show. Todd Gray will give a talk entitled ‘East Devon and its garden history’. at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be available and Tony will be on hand again for book signing.
Both events are free thanks to the generous support of the Lympstone Community Hub.
