‘NOT ONE OF US! Individuals set apart by choice, circumstances, crowds or the mob in Exeter, 1451’ – a talk from Todd Gray
Todd will be talking about Exeter individuals who, between 1451 and 1952, were considered different to the rest of society:
- – Royals, heroes and sportsmen who were celebrated
- – Fifth columnists, Bolsheviks, cannibals, eccentrics, suffragettes, murderers and spies etc who were notorious
The talk is to celebrate the launch of Todd’s book on the subject, co-published with the Exeter Local History Society.
