Living in Lympstone – free community event

LIVING IN LYMPSTONE – Sunday 22 September in the Village Hall
Family Session 4pm – 5.45pm
Adult Session 6pm – 8pm
A free event for all villagers to come along and chat together and meet the people in Lympstone who run our Clubs, Groups and Societies. Local individuals and groups will also provide live
entertainment during both sessions. If you know anyone who has moved to the village in the last 2 years, please let them know about this event.
Please feel free to attend either or both sessions.

We have targeted the afternoon for kid’s activities and many of the youth groups will only be present in the afternoon. Some adult groups will only be present during the evening session.

POSTER

Family Session 4pm – 5.45pm
• Free ice cream for each child under 16 (collect your voucher at the Function Room entrance)
• Free tea/coffee/biscuits/cake in Function Room
• Over 35 village groups and clubs will be on display
• Training Band & Furry Dance
• Storytelling for kids by Jenny Moon in Committee Room
• Free tennis session for kids on tennis courts (weather permitting – you MUST bring your own trainers – NO OUTDOOR SHOES ALLOWED)
• Sailing Club dinghy in Car Park
• Art Group competition for kids
• More youth group activities in Committee Room
Adult Session 6pm – 8pm
• Free alcoholic or soft drink for parishioners on arrival with nibbles (collect your voucher at the Function Room entrance)
• Pay bar from 6pm
• Over 35 village groups and clubs will be on display
• Training Band & Furry Dance
• Storytelling for adults by Jenny Moon in Committee Room
• Free tennis session for adults on tennis courts (weather permitting – you MUST bring your own trainers – NO OUTDOOR SHOES ALLOWED)
• Sailing Club dinghy in Car Park
• Outdoor croquet (weather permitting)
• Bell Ringing in Parish Church
