Lympstone Academy Brass concert

Lympstone Academy Brass concert for the Friends of the Church on Saturday, 14th May at 7pm in the church.
This is the training band for the Lympstone-based SW Telecomms Band, and they play their stirring music at various village events. You may have heard them around the village with Santa and Mulled wine at Christmas in aid of the Furry Dance, or performing at the recent Village Concert. It’s a proper village band, and Lympstone is lucky to have them.
This is your opportunity to hear the Band in concert, in the wonderful acoustic of Lympstone Church. Under the baton of their Music Director, Roger Riggs, more than 30 players of all ages will celebrate a brass band tradition in Lympstone dating back to the 19th century.
