LYMPSTONE ENTERTAINMENTS – Saturday 29 February – THE 2020 VILLAGE CONCERT
After the success of TV programme The Crown, the Royal Family has decided to go on a tour of their realm to exploit their new-found popularity. You will be thrilled to know that the Queen and Prince Phillip, and Charles and Anne (Harry and Meghan can’t make it) will be appearing in the Village Hall on the extra day we have been graciously granted this year, 29th February, from 7.30pm.
Happily this coincides with their subjects’ annual village concert, and so you will also be treated to songs and humour and conjuring and other revelry on the same occasion. One new performer will be singing some lusty music hall songs, and artistes from the recent pantomime will be injecting their won we”-remembered kind of comedy. To Crown it all, the WI will be celebrating 100 years in Lympstone with a much-loved song.
It should be a right Royal do, so rush to make sure of your tickets from Demelza, 2 Brookfield Cottages. Tel: 272243, or firstname.lastname@example.org
