Village Hall Open Morning prior to re-opening

Village Hall Open Morning – Saturday 27^th June 10am – 12 noon.

We have been told that the hall should expect to reopen on Monday 6^th July. (Limited use on an exclusive basis by the village school has already started.)

We expect detailed guidance in the next few days, and it seems likely that other announcements – for example about the reopening of pubs will also shape our actions. The guidance will need to be closely studied to see what applies to the hall.

It’s important for hirers and users to understand:

• the detail of the rules

• what they mean in terms of the capacity of the hall for a range of activities. (This will change if the government changes the social distance rule.)

• what responsibilities hirers must accept – we are extending our terms and conditions

• how we will handle cleaning and other safety matters, and what hirers will need to do before, during and after their hire period.

Please come along on Saturday between 10am and 12 noon, to find out more.

• Seats will be laid out with examples of seats at 1, 1.5 and 2 metres social distance. 
• Please come along anytime between 10:00 and 12 noon. We will have the live bookings diary available for enquiries. We will take photos which will be posted on the hall website to help anyone who can’t attend.
