An evening of Dickens!

An evening of Dickens!

This is a final reminder to buy your tickets to see Dickens Asks for More in the Village Hall on Saturday 17th March.

As biographer Claire Tomalin recently wrote ‘The whole world knows Dickens, his London and his characters. He could make people laugh and cry, and arouse anger, and he meant to amuse and make the world a better place.’

Actor/writer Michael McEvoy, who has performed on stage and screen in many and varied roles, from Shakespeare to The Bill, brings to life, with humour and affection, both the author and an array of his best-loved characters. Doors and the licensed bar open at 7pm and the curtain goes up at 7.30pm.

This is your chance to post a letter to Santa and receive a reply - what are you waiting for? ... See MoreSee Less
