Every four years we organise a walk around the Parish boundary. It falls this year on Saturday 1st September, commencing at 9.30am at Parsonage Style.
However, if you have access to a boat and would like to follow the boundary on the river – meet at the Boat Shelter at 9.00am. Please bring a packed lunch, stout footwear and plenty of stamina for this 6.5 mile walk, which involves climbing through hedges and across the common!Well behaved dogs strictly on a lead, are welcome – bearing in mind there will be livestock at various points on the walk.
We aim to return to the Swan Inn at approximately 4.00pm for refreshments and hopefully a barbecue. Enquiries: Robert 266465.
