Boat Thefts in Lympstone

Over night from Sunday 23rd June to Monday 24th June three outboard motor engines were stolen from boats moored on the estuary at Lympstone.  It is believed a small wooden vessel taken from the harbour was used to reach the boats.  The engines were stolen using cutting equipment/bolt croppers and then the boats set adrift.  It is possible the offenders used Parsonage Styles (Burgmans Hill area) to come ashore and unload.  If anyone has any information on these thefts or has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the run up to the 24th please contact the police on 101 quoting KE/13/1426.

Please remain vigilant at this time and report anything suspicious to Police immediately giving details of persons and vehicles involved. Thank you.
