Irresponsible owners and their dogs are becoming an increasing problem in Candy’s Field.
It was agreed by the Parish Council on Monday 13th May that the dog warden at EDDC will be contacted to become more involved. In the meantime,
Councillors will be policing Candy’s field and tackling any dog owners who have their dogs off the lead and any who choose not to clear up after their dog will be reported to EDDC and fined.
As tempting as it is, Candy’s Field is an area where DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD.
Other fields are available to walk and exercise your dog. Children play and picnic in Candy’s field, it can pose serious health implications to children if they ingest dog faeces and can cause blindness.
