In the next few days people visiting Candy’s Field will see preliminary work being undertaken by contractors. They will lay tracks across the field for site vehicles, and make Health and Safety checks. There will be also be a large square area just inside the gate to the reserve carpark – to allow for large vehicles turning – and a narrower strip running up the top of the field. There will be another large rectangular platform at the top of the site – again for large vehicles and the crane.
The next two weeks will involve work on drainage and site preparation. On or around 7 November the modular building units will be delivered to the site.
