All over the UK quilted pennants are being made to give as a sign of friendship to athletes competing in the Olympics/Para Games.
We would like to send a contribution from Lympstone. A workshop will be held on November 12th at Lympstone Sailing Club. Only 12 places are available. For those interested, over 9- years old and keen to design and make a pennant using textiles, please contact Jenny Charles on 01395 264359 for further details.
Other help needed includes: making wooden rods and braids from which to hang the pennants and; an hour or so to help with catering. All pennants will be labelled, so a ‘made in Lympstone’ could go anywhere in the world!
