SWW held a useful Open Session in the Methodist Church to explain the works that they will be carrying out to improve sewerage capacity. This work is vital to reduce the amount of raw sewage that is being pumped into the River Exe. However these are major works and will not happen without some disruption.
Half of the car park will be taken up and so alternative car parking has been arranged on land at the top of Underhill Close. Please use this area and do not park on the side of the roads nearby which will only cause more problems for residents. There will also be some temporary parking and speed restrictions whilst large and heavy items are delivered. This is necessary to make sure that these vehicles can get through the village safely. Please be patient if you are caught up in this.
