Social club for retirees

Probus is a national organisation to encourage retired professional and businessmen to come together for social contact.

Thirty two members of East Exe Probus Club (which includes Lympstone) recently enjoyed a humorous talk given by David Holt on the subject of ‘The Funny Side of Primary Teaching’. This was well received by the members with a vote of thanks being given by Rod Gibson.

Chairman, John Eaton-Terry reminded members to put their names down for the Christmas lunch on the 14th December and for a visit to the Christmas Concert to be given by the Band of the Royal Marines on the afternoon of 13th December.

We meet at Withycombe Rugby Club on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 10.00am for coffee followed by a guest speaker. Anyone interested in joining should contact me.

This is your chance to post a letter to Santa and receive a reply - what are you waiting for? ... See MoreSee Less
